Acrylic Workshop – Abstracting the landscape with Lorna MacKay, Sat 3 Feb 2024, 10-4pm, £126

This workshop will focus on capturing shape, form, colour and line to create a composition in drawing mediums and acryilic. Artist and art lecturer Lorna Mackay will work with complete beginners to experienced artists. Use shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve the creation of a finishes painting.
Treat yourself to a day of art and enjoy drawing and painting in a relaxed, creative atmosphere.

All levels welcome. You will learn:
•    mark making in paint or drawing mediums to create a composition
•   how to use visual language of shape, form, colour and line
•    explore the artwork and assign your own meaning practical tips and advice and high level of personal attention
