Animal & Wildlife Portrait Workshop, with Amanda Buchanan-Hutchison, Sat 5 Oct 2024, 10-4pm

During the anmial portrait workshop we work from life or images. Students will be introduced to the basic principles and the preliminary stages of rendering a portrait. We will introduce proportional guidelines focusing on the structure of the shape, observing the effects of light and shade and the visual challenges it creates.
The animal portrait workshop offers structure and helps mastering the principals of this subject with the emphasis to let each student apply their own working and style.
Mediums used will be various drawing materials and acrylic paint.
