Description
Explore different ways of working with drawing and painting materials during art4you Scotland’s popular drawing and painting day. In this drawing and painting workshop students will work with charcoal, graphite, pastels, acrylic and oil paint. The course will nurture self-confidence and enjoyment of painting and drawing. The teaching artist Sally Morrison has a background in design, printmaking and painting. She has used the combination of these skills to create a workshop suitable for all. You will learn to explore the various ways of mark making with a variety of quality drawing and painting materials. The course is run in small groups of max 10 and there is plenty of guidance from the teaching artist. All levels welcome.
You will learn:
• how to use drawing mediums, oil and acrylic paint
• how to achieve different marks with the different mediums
• how to explore and develop your skills to complete finished piece or pieces of art
